Able Archer is a line of purpose-driven bags inspired by the work of photojournalists, news writers and guerrilla filmmakers.

Invoking surplus military materials and designs of yesterday, Able Archer bags are as rugged and functional on the outside as they are unimposing and anonymous.

Inside, Able Archer is a modern, customizable and accessible carry system for today's tools.

If actions define us, Able Archer draws utility within – allowing us to carry through boundaries, borders, and ultimately our objectives.

A purposeful blend of old and new. Natural fabric and classic metal hardware on the outside  wear in characteristically over time. Waterproof zippers, elastic, nylon and neoprene inside do the heavy lifting.

Military-grade cotton canvas treated for water resistance to military specifications. Nylon, neoprene and elastic interiors are also mil-spec, sewn on machines used to make real-world military uniforms.

Grids of webbing on the inside, outside, even the strap, are 'MOLLE' compatible – the standard for attaching pouches found in surplus stores worldwide. Able Archer will be releasing specialized pouches for camera gear this fall.

Flaps contain pockets for passports and carefully placed webbing protect CF and SD memory cards from dust and cursory inspection. Neoprene lined organizers for pens and hard drives are standard.

The Rucksack and Duffel feature access to a separate compartment underneath the main lining – good to separate gear from clothing, dirty clothes from clean, dry from wet, shoes or tripods.

Every bag comes with a removable, reversible, and customizable drag handle that can be switched from bag to bag. Able Archer will be offering personalized embroidered handles individually later this fall.
